time-speed in dynamic mode?

Hi, is it possible to change how quickly the "movie" progresses when the time line is active and I press "play"? it seems to be changing much too fast for the layout-algorithm to keep up, and the result looks pretty messy. not surprisingly, simply scaling the times has no effect.
thanks

Yes,
There are icons on the left of the time line, next to the play button, where you can find the parameters for that.
Post here again if you have trouble finding them.

hmm, I only have two buttons there - a red cross and something to do with charts...?

It should be right below the chart button. It will give you the options that you are looking for.

Hi,
This means you do not use the latest version of Gephi I suppose. This should be version 0.8.1 beta (check the upper left corner of your Gephi windows).
To download the latest version with the improved time line, go to
www.gephi.org
Best,
Clement

No, I'm using 0.8.1 beta, but I found it - for some reason the "workspace bar" at the bottom is hiding the last button. I can only just touch the upper edge of it.
